It’s been a fun year with lots of new arrivals and one or two farewells. We’ve had to say goodbye to Sparky (the Exmoor) but he’s gone to a really great new home and his son, Rockie, is still with us.
Madge and Zoe, the Shetlands, are expecting and we should have the patter of little hooves in about April/May of 2014.
Free range pork has taken on a whole new meaning at the moment with the 18 micro piglets racing all over the place. Beware, when you come into the grounds as they will undoubtedly be there to greet you.
3 guinea fowl, hatched on the farm in July, are now roaming freely and roosting in the pear tree every night. They take delight at dropping pears onto the unexpected – so keep looking up!!
